The adept listener will notice the music seems confined
somehow, the music on this CD needs a lot of space.
Increase the volume.... no help. Bigger speakers....no
help. You'll want to move your furniture out of the way, knock
out a few walls, that helps...
Its not volume, or ones system, its space, play it
outdoors, on a mountain overlooking a big city, or just
imagine a huge space... now this is "space" music.
If you're lucky enough to own a copy of this you know you
have something special.
Art and music has rarely been combined, in sequence, with
such a vision, as the EM:T line of releases. Many listeners
bought their first one "because" of the cover, only to find
that the music echo's the cover photo's quality, brightness,
life's diversity, and mystery.
It's beautiful life and music caught in an instant.
Timeless music, sounding better every year.
The first incarnation, having only 18 CD's in the digipak
format, and 5 USA Instinct releases, it's an easy collection
to fulfill.
Track listing oddities:
- The track "Miniscule" is only a fraction of a second
long, so it is listed here as 0:00 in length.
- The track "Timestretch" is a full track, 4:30 long,
compressed into one second of audio.
- Tracks 10a and 10b are listed separately as Tracks 10 and
11 on the CD packaging, thus pushing Tracks 11 and 12 back to
12 and 13.
- Track 12 also comprises the extra tracks "Pink" and
"Doom", not listed on the packaging.
