Jupiter 6 Battery

Just a quick link for anyone in the UK looking for a Jupiter 6 replacement battery.

Farnell.com

It’s a good idea to replace it every ten years to keep your patch data safe.
It’s worth noting that you have to open an account with Farnell, otherwise there is a £20 minimum order and the battery only costs about £2. An account also gives you free shipping and next day delivery.

Good thing ! it reminds me to think about that problem for my JX-3P but I have to take my iron out first, some repairs to do, the PCB has been damaged… :(
But that old technology is quite easy to maintain :)

It’s quite tricky to find people that fix old analog gear, in the UK anyway.
I have a pile of stuff that needs fixing

Just my old JX, and by the way the backlight of my D-550’s display :)
But yes it is hard to find bitz parts for reasonable prices… analog means vintage which means money for many on the web, that’s too bad
