  27. Microscopics . August 18, 2009 9:39 pm

    Thanks for all your comments!

    If you’re a Mac user here’s a quote from the FAQ…
Some fine folk have reported back to us that it works well via Crossover and Parallels on Mac, and via Wine on Linux.

I’d just like to add that the Hemisphere guys are great and genuine people. They’re a very small indie team and have worked really hard to finish the game. So it would be great, even if you don’t intend to buy, to just download the demo from their site. http://www.hemispheregames.com

Our lives are short, and the corporatisation of a lot of music has led to a short attention span at the expense of individual happiness. There is a place for us all in music, it doesn’t need to be delivered to us like cheeseburgers. There is music that lets you inhabit it, you bring as much to it as the creator, and it will sound different every time you hear it because you make it different simply by engaging. Thanks Gas.

  89. Samantha . August 19, 2009 7:46 pm

Looks like a fun game =D I can’t wait to try it.

  90. syd . August 19, 2009 7:56 pm

  92. osmos fan . August 19, 2009 8:40 pm

    if we could win…

  93. Peter . August 19, 2009 8:55 pm

Well, I’m not much of a gamer, could actually settle with the enjoyment of just the graphics accompanying the beautiful sounds, but the game seems to be more “sensible” than running around killing others in a conventional game. Good luck with the project!
…Waiting for the OS X Version as well…

  94. SolaceAvatar . August 19, 2009 10:05 pm

Free is good… wonder how they make sure you don’t post a dozen times under different names. :P

Looks amazing! Can’t wait to try it!!!
    :D

  101. jessej . August 20, 2009 1:12 am

The game looks fantastic! The game Sounds fantastic! …and that is just based on the video trailers I just saw!

The gameplay reminds me a lot of one of my all time favorites – Asteroids on the Atari 2600. I played that game for hundreds of hours, both alone and with friends. I think this game might take me back to that same situation and perhaps even beyond!

I hope it will run on my mac too!

  102. DanG . August 20, 2009 2:02 am

Fourtunately, I missed room ‘101′…but I hope 102 means I’ll see the game on MAC soon! The trailer looks amazing, I can’t wait to play the game!

  103. Mr.Juicy Fruit . August 20, 2009 2:20 am

hi i like ur game and i want free game ^.^ also there muisc great!

  104. Falcon-Goat . August 20, 2009 2:39 am

    Oh my god!
For the music alone I’d love to get my sticky fingers on that game…

  105. Nick . August 20, 2009 3:44 am

Osmos looks kinda neat, but from the demo it seems really short. Unemployed, so not worth $10 to me, $5 sure, or free if I am so fortunate :P

  106. BlindMan . August 20, 2009 5:17 am

Played the demo…it is mesmerizing. In the orbiting level, I slowed down too much, degraded my orbit, and crashed into the “sun”, then proceeded to watch the other motes form planets while listening to the music.

As a result, I now think a sandbox level should be part of the full game.

    :)

  107. Stefan . August 20, 2009 5:53 am

    Cosmic Osmos ;)

looks nice, gotta give it a try

  108. felix . August 20, 2009 7:09 am

    Very cool!

  116. vp . August 20, 2009 3:30 pm

The game is pretty damn amazing – shows how a simple concept can lead to intriguing and challenging gameplay, and proves there’s a definite future for physics-based games.

  117. Tristan Anderson . August 20, 2009 4:32 pm

Simply, graceful, and elegant in design, this game will draw you in to a world that grows in complexity and in your free time; gently and serenely. Weather your envisioning microscopic or cosmic level encounters, it’s beauty, both in sight and sound, is an experience to share with others.

  118. David . August 20, 2009 5:57 pm

Very nice game. However, ADHD sufferers beware. :)

    Hey why not. I’m in.

  148. Patrick Bethke . August 22, 2009 5:37 pm

    Love the demo
if i dont win ill buy, but im broke

  149. Forcasa . August 22, 2009 7:42 pm

The demo was pleasantly minimalistic and hypnotizing. It’s like a nod to the arcade games of the past, brought to life with modern technology and vision. Refreshing.

And what a lineup. Video game music typically serves to complement the game’s theme and feel, but here it fits so seamlessly it could as well be vice versa.

  150. Grace . August 22, 2009 9:47 pm

Game looks wonderful. Hypnotic & relaxing, just the thing for late night chilling.

  151. Franz . August 23, 2009 1:34 am

Loved the demo, spread the love, and 150 is my lucky number!

  152. James . August 23, 2009 4:06 am

  164. aMUSEd . August 24, 2009 9:26 am

Don’t like many PC games as I don’t enjoy the obsessions with competition and violence so this looks like it might be the game for me

  165. aMUSEd . August 24, 2009 9:31 am

btw seriously needs an iPhone version :)

  166. ronnie . August 24, 2009 9:44 am

Nice. Good to see simpler games coming back into foxus – I like stuff like the ‘Flower’ game on the ps3 (not that I own one).

  174. MA-Simon . August 26, 2009 12:29 am

I Love that gamestyle! I already played “Flow” and “Flower” and both of them are absolutely georgeous! I would be really hapy if you would pick me!
And i love your ambiental soundtrack too.
Best thing after a hard working day in my Graphics-Design Agency.
