Gas 0095 Quotes: Magnus Birgersson, Solar Fields

solar-fieldsFor the recent Future Music feature on Gas 0095, Magnus Birgersson from Solar Fields was kind enough to give us a quote about the album…

“Gas 0095: A timeless masterpiece that still sounds unique and fresh. Top notch ambient music that will take you on an unforgettable journey.”

Magnus has just released his new album, Movements, and a great album it is too, 1.3 hours of very cool electronic music, well produced, highly recommended, and released by the nicest people in France, Ultimae.

james-murrayAnother very highly recommended new release on Ultimae is the new James Murray album, ‘Where Edges Meet‘. It’s 1.1 hours of  slick, edgy electronics that hides in the light. James also had a track on the Emit 0004 album under the name ‘Sub’

Many thanks Magnus.

Wow ! World is small !
I’m following Magnus Birgersson and Solar Fields since I’ve heard about his french label Ultimae – french are sometimes not so bad ;) I’m one ;) – in the early 2000’s… I think I have all their records now, it is one of the most interesting label of electronic music I think, and hope that post will make their productions best known.
For me Gas and Solar Fields are participating of the same movement in electronic music : sensibility and smart complexity to offer the audience journeys to be remembered. So thanks both of you and please keep going on !
